1. COMMITMENT
SAN is committed to improving accessibility and usability as the project develops. The current design aims to support recognized accessibility practices, including meaningful structure, keyboard access, readable contrast, responsive layouts, descriptive labels, visible focus states, and alternatives for non-text content.
2. TARGET STANDARD
SAN uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a design and improvement target. The current pre-launch site has not yet completed an independent conformance audit, so SAN does not claim full conformance at this time.
3. TECHNOLOGIES
The website relies on modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The experience is intended to work with current browsers, keyboard navigation, screen readers, magnification, speech input, and common assistive technologies. Older or unsupported combinations may behave differently.
4. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Accessibility will be considered during design, content creation, pilot testing, partner selection, and future product development. SAN intends to prioritize barriers that prevent people from receiving information, joining the Formation, navigating safety resources, or using essential platform functions.
5. FEEDBACK AND ALTERNATIVE ACCESS
If you encounter a barrier, email info@squaredawaynation.com with the page, task, assistive technology, browser, and problem you encountered. SAN will make reasonable efforts to provide information in another format or identify an alternative path while the issue is reviewed.
6. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
SAN may link to or later integrate third-party content that it does not fully control. SAN will encourage accessible partner experiences but cannot guarantee the accessibility of external websites, documents, services, or tools.
